Points-Based Betting

By sticking with this principle with each and every bet you make, you stand to make the very best of the

ROI (Return on Investment) Westcountry Winners can offer.

A points-based betting system is an effective way of betting within your means as well as ensuring you remain consistent. In its simplest form, 1 point could equal £1. But regardless of that value, if WW advise you to place a 2 point bet, you know it comes with certainty. These 2 points could mean £1, £10 or £100. This is where you decide - your choice will affect the amount of money you return. As long as it’s an amount within your means then the ROI looks after itself.

The importance of consistency plays a huge role in your success. Any change to your amount / points ratio can massively sway your returns, perhaps for the better but equally for the worse. This is not to say a change can’t become part of the process - you may want to increase your ratio as you reach certain milestones: a two-fold increase of your initial stake, a set period in profit, or a given date in each year; however, doubling down in a lull by switching from £2 to £20 could see your short-term profit forecast fall off a cliff!

As a guide, the following comparison table should aid this explanation. In the table below, 1 point = £5. The amount is entirely up to you; however, the ratio reflects our team's certainty to the cost of each type of bet.

So, for example, based on the above table, a 1 point each-way stake (2 points) would cost you £10. Westcountry Winners generally advise 1pt e.w bets (2 points) and it will be entirely your decision as to the amount you choose for this stake. Occasionally WW may advise 0.5pt e.w. This is due to a number of reasons, for example, poor draws, horses that have been off the track for a long time, but also because we appreciate not everyone wishes to, or can afford to risk 1pt ew on every horse, especially if we tip 6 selections in one day (our average is around 3), although please note, all 1pt ew stakes to date have resulted in around £700 more profit, so if you can afford to stake 1pt ew on all our selections, it's likely you will end up better off over the long term.

Betting Bank (£)

Once you have established a point system, WW recommend having a betting bank for the sole purpose of placing bets and putting 50 points into the bank. For example, if 1 point is £5, your starting bank will be £250. If 1 point is £10, your starting bank will be £500.

WW also recommend withdrawing any profits at the end of every month and reverting back to your original starting bank as you will then be able to see, at the end of every day, week, month, whether you are in profit or not. It is also useful to keep an ongoing monthly record of your profits to see how you're doing overall.

WW ALWAYS take early odds as we believe these are more profitable overall.

Remember, Consistency is Key!

In order to potentially profit from our service, WW advise you to bet on every single horse we tip. Granted, some will win, some will lose, but even if you experience a losing streak, DO NOT GIVE UP! Simply follow our instructions and you too could end up making excellent profits year on year.
